Jozef Ragan 

*Born 24th of March 1987 in Bardejov, Slovakia

 

Jozef started playing drum set at the age of 14.

After finishing his first secondary school he completely changed his view of music and started studying at the National Music School in Slovakia (2006 - 2013).

The desire to improve his drumming skills was so intense that he decided to undertake the Jazz and Stage Performance Programme at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of music in Katowice - Poland (2013 - 2015) and Masters Degree Programme ( 2020 - 2022 )

 

Since 2008 Jozef has been working in music schools - currently in Bratislava - where he gives drumming lessons.

Jozef attended masterclasses and private lessons with Dave Weckl, Gergo Borlai, Todd Sucherman, Eric Moore, Billy Sheehan...

 

He currently collaborates with jazz, blues, rock and pop musicians and bands.

​
